This year instead of sending Christmas cards to clients, Brasier Freeth donated toys to the Starfish Ward at Watford General Hospital. The Starfish ward is a 20-bed general paediatric ward caring for children and young people up to the age of 16 years. The ward cares for children with both medical and surgical conditions and also has 2 high dependency beds.
Bags of toys were presented to the nurses who will hand out to children staying in the ward over Christmas or need to visit the ward regularly, anything left over will be given to the children on their birthdays. The nurses were delighted to receive the presents and look forward to handing them out to the children.
