Alchemy offices - Welwyn Garden City

Acting on behalf of Landlord clients Harbert Management Corporation and XLB Property, joint agents Brasier Freeth, Savills and Colliers International have let 21,909 sq. ft. of office space in Welwyn Garden City to The Environment Agency.

The public body, will occupy the ground and first floors of the multi-let building ‘Alchemy’, joining existing tenants Deutsche Telekom and Pinnacle Engineering.

Investment Managers Harbert Management Corporation and Asset Managers XLB Property purchased the 41,045 sq. ft. building in March 2016. Since then, the Landlords have actively undertaken a series of asset management initiatives to improve the building which offers Grade A, modern, contemporary office accommodation over three floors.

Alchemy occupies a prominent position in Welwyn Garden City with excellent access to Junction 4 of the A1(M) and Junction 23 of the M25.  Neighbouring companies include supermarket chain Tesco, business services and technology giant Xerox and global health-care company Roche. The last remaining second floor suite of 8,211 sq. ft. is available at a quoting rent of £21.50 per sq. ft.
