We’re delighted that our client Chancerygate has been shortlisted for three awards by the Industrial Agents Society – ‘Best Overall Scheme Multi-let Industrial Estate’, ‘Deal of the Year – Under 75,000 sq. ft.’ and Developer of the Year.
The IAS Awards are designed to celebrate the successes and achievements of the industrial property sector. To qualify for the ‘Best Overall Scheme’ category the project needed to be multi-unit schemes of two or more units, primarily servicing the logistics sector.
Chancerygate was shortlisted following the successful Maylands Point development in Hemel Hempstead (pictured). They acted as Development Partner for Orchard Street Investment Management who bought the site as part of the £100m Orbital portfolio acquisition in 2015. The development consisted of a 3 acre site close to the M1 and comprised two high quality distribution units of 35,000 sq. ft. and 22,400 sq. ft. with office space.
Brasier Freeth is proud to have been involved with the nominated scheme. Our Business Space Team acted as joint agent with DohertyBaines and let both units on ten year leases prior to practical completion earlier this year.
We extend our congratulations to all the Team at Chancerygate and wish them every success at the Awards ceremony later this month.
